Angela Haynesworth is a federal systems strategist and cybersecurity architect with over 20 years of experience delivering secure, audit-ready environments for high-assurance agencies including DOT, CMS, NIH, and defense sectors. She specializes in RMF and ATO lifecycles, avionics software development, and cyber-integrated platforms engineered for mission-critical delivery.

Known for her hands-on ethic—“nothing is beneath me”—Angela leads from the front. Her vision is to elevate legacy systems, secure next-gen platforms, and deliver elite outcomes for aerospace and federal clients. Under her leadership, The H-KORP Systems is scaling into aerospace with precision, agility, and purpose.

Angela’s vision is clear: to elevate legacy systems, secure next-gen platforms, and deliver outcomes that exceed federal and aerospace standards. She doesn’t just lead—she builds, scales, and transforms.

Angela holds multiple academic degrees, including a Master’s in Information Systems, and is pursuing a PhD in Cyberpsychology (2026), focused on behavioral content and digital wellness. She has been inducted into several national honor societies and is an active member of professional organizations and faith-led communities. Her leadership is grounded in faith, and she credits God for the clarity, resilience, and purpose that guide her work and life.

Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A)

Personnel Security Enterprise System (PSES)

Client: Department of Transportation – Office of the Secretary, PSES

Scope: Full lifecycle support, Authority to Operate (ATO)

Frameworks: NIST 800-53 Rev 4, RMF, FISMA, OMB, DOT-specific policies

Angela led the successful ATO for PSES—a high-stakes project involving sensitive personnel data, federal compliance, and a compressed timeline. While earning her Master’s in Information Systems Management, she applied deep expertise in project and risk management to guide the effort from initiation to approval.

Her leadership aligned government stakeholders, software developers, and third-party assessors into a unified, mission-driven team.

The result: ATO granted on schedule, with full confidence in the system’s security posture and formal recognition from DOT leadership.

This success laid the foundation for The H-KORP delivery model, built on real-world execution and aligned with NIST protocols and CISA requirements. With firsthand leadership in federal security programs, Angela structured The H-KORP to scale that expertise—ensuring every engagement is guided by proven frameworks and mission-ready talent.

CMMI III Certification

Angela guided a Prime software development team through CMMI Level III recertification while managing the PSES project. Drawing on PMI’s PMBOK standards and process frameworks, she ensured the team’s project execution aligned with best practices in quality, risk, and performance. Under her leadership, the company (available upon request) successfully achieved its recertification—further demonstrating Angela’s ability to lead complex, compliance-driven initiatives across multiple domains.

SA&A

Cybersecurity Assessment Management (CSAM)

Client: National Institutes of Health (NIH)

Scope: ATO delivery for CSAM system, supporting NIH wide usage across multiple operational modes

Frameworks: NIST 800 Rev 4 to Rev 5

Angela led the ATO effort for NIH’s CSAM system, which supported various operational modes across the agency. She was instrumental in working with the federal client to incorporate required policies, documentation, and compliance frameworks necessary to move the initiative forward.

Angela collaborated seamlessly with NIH stakeholders and teams to ensure smooth operations throughout the process. Under Angela’s leadership, the team was able to achieve the ATO, meeting the demands of NIH-wide deployment and securing approval for system usage across multiple environments.
